10+ Pictures Of Dad-Dog Duo That Are Just Adorable

Father’s day is not only for men with kids.

After all, having a dog is like having to work as a full-time dad. I might even go as far as to say dogs require a lot more care than babies. Then again, at least dogs don’t keep you up at night, so maybe getting a dog is much better than having a baby.

Anyway, we are getting off topic since today we have some of the most adorable pictures of dogs and their dads cuddling up with little stories behind the duo. And all I can say is that if true love exists, this is it. So scroll on below and take a look at some of the happiest dogs and dads i’ve ever seen.

#1 Hogging the couch.

This guy right here is the biggest teddy bear when it comes to his Willow girl. ❤ There is very little he wouldn’t do for his pupper, including but not limited to: allowing her to sleep on him even if that means she hogs the couch, bringing home a new toy [for her] to play with just because, and giving all the belly rubs she could want.

#2 ‘Mine!’

Dog dad Randy and our baby girl Korra! She likes to remind me that Randy belongs to her, not me.

#3 Twins.

Tyler and Poe bonded from the second we brought Poe home. They spend countless hours doing what Poe loves best (cuddling) and even occasionally do the one thing Tyler said he would never do: wear matching outfits!

#4 Missing dad.

Daddy had just come home from a year-long deployment, and [she] refused to leave his side. She’s still obsessed with him.

#5 Special birthday.

My husband Joel is an amazing dog dad to our rescue dogs Gunnar and Finn. From couch cuddles to baking dog-friendly ‘pupcakes’ for a doggie birthday party, he does it all, and we love him for it.

#8 Best friends.

When my now-fiancé and I got together, he had a pit bull and a chihuahua, while I had a shepherd mix. We weren’t sure how we were going to live in a relatively small house with three dogs, but we’ve made it work.

Making everyone work around our three dogs — between house renovations, gardeners, mail carriers, house sitters, puppy sitters, and living near an amusement park with nightly fireworks — he makes sure the kids are always taken care of.

#11 Love at paw-site.

This is the moment I fell in love with my now-husband. The dog he is kissing is one I originally adopted, but she was nervous and anxious and always looking around in fear. When Hugo entered our lives, Missy adored him instantly. He made her and I feel safe. Ever since then, the two have been inseparable! I think he might have married me partly to keep the dog, lol.

#18 Nose lover.

My fiancé and our dog when she was a puppy. ❤️ We had her since she was six weeks old, and she’s our baby. She was rescued with her siblings down south, where they were found on the side of the road. She loves licking his nose.
