There’s a reason why even in 2019 women feel unsafe when they’re going out.
Why’s that, you ask? One word—predators. Predators are opportunists who are always waiting for the right time to strike. Predators are all around us, sometimes hiding in plain sight. They could be sitting right next to us and we wouldn’t know. They are sometimes the people we least expect like a friend or even a relative. However, whatever the case may be, under no circumstances should we let them get away with something.
Predators can target anyone. May they be women, children or even men. But, their most common preys are women and children. Today, we will explicitly talk about women and share some eye-opening stories with you. But, before we do so, always remember to look out for your friends, family and even complete strangers. Yes, you read that correctly.
If you see a random person in distress or in a very uncomfortable position, immediately offer your help. If you can’t help them yourself, call for help. But don’t just stand there, do something. You may never know just how desperately the other person might need your help.
Take a look at these real-life stories of people who are only here today because some stranger was kind and thoughtful enough to help them when they needed it the most.
A facebook user, Alex Tyler shared these real-life stories from Tumblr.
This restores my faith in humanity.
Though she didn’t need help, this gesture clearly inspired her to help others instead.
“Don’t wait for them (men) to do something if you can do it yourself.”
Had they not offered their help to this girl, it would be a completely different story today.
If you’re reading this, thank you, grandma!
Kudos to this lady! We need more people like her in this world.
Sometimes when you can’t outrun them, you have to outsmart them.
I repeat, look out for each other.
They are the heroes we don’t get to see on the news.
In this manner, if we all just keep looking out for each other maybe the world will be a better place to live.
