Dealing with the loss of a loved one is never easy.
They say that after going through the five stages of grief (denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance), one finally gets enough strength to move on. Well, that’s quite true. However, sometimes, it takes people too long to reach the final stage of acceptance, and by that time, they no longer know the difference. So, when you lose someone close, you miss them every day for the rest of your life.
Now, I don’t mean to sound all depressing, but it doesn’t have to be midnight for you to miss someone suddenly. Sometimes, it hits you in the middle of the day when you’re busy doing something, and you’re just completely lost in the moment; unaware of your surroundings. So, it all comes down to how strong you are and how readily you are willing to let things pass and move on.
Now, all of this is easy to explain in the case of humans, but we can’t say the same for our pets. They don’t know what those five stages of grief are. They only know one thing, and that is to give absolute love and loyalty to their hoomans. So, when we are no longer around, they keep waiting for us to come back. And that’s just straight up sad.
The following story shows a similar case that will leave you in tears. Scroll on below and take a look.

But everything changed after some time.
Fast-forward a few months; things settled down.
But here comes the messed up part.
It wasn’t intentional. I repeat it was not intentional. But how do we explain this to the poor soul?
It’s indeed very painful, and I wish there were a way to explain.
