It’s sad to see that a letter from 1986 is still relevant.
Even though, we as a society should have learned to vaccinate children. While I understand most parents only want what’s best for their children and don’t want to harm them in any way. But what many don’t understand is that not giving your kid vaccinations is doing more harm than good.
After all, we should listen to the doctors, and every doctor recommends vaccinating your child. However, many parents are following the actions of celebrities who don’t even know how much harm they are doing to their child.
That is why it is so hard to read this letter from 1986. This letter was written by Roald Dahl when his own child died of measles. It was not that he didn’t want his child to get vaccinated, it was just that he couldn’t.
