Everyone has dark secrets.
At some point somewhere in life, we have all done things we regret. May that be something terrible or embarrassing, we know that at some point we were different people. But what matters at the end of the day is that we have changed now, and it was all in the past.
Personality change is one of the hardest things in life. Keeping a check on yourself, getting rid of all the toxic habits and having a pure change of heart. It is not an easy thing to accomplish. But those who manage to change themselves for good deserve all the respect and appreciation!
However, one thing that’s worse than anything else is the sick habit of calling out other people on what they used to be. Check out this confession for example. Recently, a Tumblr user confessed to doing terrible things in the past and talked about the change of heart. But more importantly, the user discussed the problems with “purity culture” and how it’s harming people who are trying to move forward.

“People’s opinions and beliefs can change.”
People change with time.
Don’t bring up things from the past in a wrong way.
Allow people to grow.
A person’s past should not influence your thoughts about them in the present.
You never know anything!
